Master's Projects in Dialogue: Postersession at the Long Night of Science

29.07.2025 -

On the evening of the Long Night of Science, two groups of Master's students from the European Studies programme presented their current projects in a poster session. The aim was to share their ongoing work with the public and gather valuable feedback from visitors and experts.

The first project focused on social cohesion in the context of Chemnitz, which was designated as the European Capital of Culture in 2025. The students explored how cultural initiatives can foster societal cohesion, particularly in regions facing diverse social challenges.

The second group examined the discourse on EU enlargement, with a particular focus on comparing Ukraine and the Western Balkan countries. Their project investigated issues of political communication, public perception, and strategic narratives in the enlargement process.

The finalised projects will be officially presented in October during the programme’s orientation week.
