ECPR Energy-PPG Workshop: Women in Energy & Climate Politics, Policy & Governance, with Alba Kugelmeier López
On the 4th of October, online, the ECPR Energy-PPG Workshop on Women in Energy & Climate Politics, Policy & Governance will be taking place and registrations are open to all interested parties.
The event will be tackling pertinent and topical questions on the intersection between gender equality and energy and climate politics, policy and governance.
What does the research tell us with regard to women participation in the energy sector? The EU’s gender policy, new dawn or have we reached a ceiling? What are the politician’s attitudes towards Men’s Role in Gender Equality Representation? How could we address the gender imbalance in the renewable energy industry? How can mentorship help to overcome challenges? How can we achieve gender equality in the sustainable energy transition?
Alba Kugelmeier López, member of our EUS Team, researcher and lecturer on feminist theories and gender equality policies at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg will be taking part in the event, together with fellow researchers and experts on Women in Politics, Policy, Governance and Energy.
