Excellency EU-Research & Thematic Studies

As part of the DEG Research programme, a lecture series will be held that interlinks teaching, research, and outreach. This cross-EU early career lecture series will be followed by an author workshop to produce an edited volume. This volume will address the need to actively link research and teaching activities, as well as public discourse, by opening up the lecture series. This interlinked approach directly addresses the multiple needs of early-career scholars in EU studies from across Europe, proactively intersecting the different work packages. It fulfills several interlinked objectives: promoting excellence in early-career EU scholarship, building networks, providing high-level teaching, engaging with the public, facilitating digital learning, and producing high-level EU publications.
